First week in Holland

First week in Holland had passed really fast.
The day that I would arrive in Holland, I had to change airplane in Paris. The second I put my first step out of the airplane, I could feel the cold going through my vains and almost freezing me. And that was still in a closed place. I prepared myself mentally in the airplane, when the pilot said: good dat ladies and gentlemens, it is 6 degrees celcius in Paris... Well that wasn't a "good day" for me..
When I finally arrived at my gate for the plane to Holland, I texted my parents if they could bring me a wintercoat, gloves and a scarf. The airport of Paris is huge, if it was Saba I would have walked Saba already for 3 times only to get to my gate!
At the arrival gate I packed myself in all those clothes and sat in the car shaking.., talking and brabbling. Haha!
Now it has been a week and I do miss a lot of things from Saba. Specially waking up everyday with this beautiful view of the sea, palm trees and the sound of the birds. The sky is just so beautiful and now when I look out of my window I only see houses and dead-like trees. It looks more sad and the artitude of people is also different.
The thing thag I miss the most, is doing everyday what I like to do. I miss being out on the sea or just seeing it everyday. I thought that I was "girly" but in the end, I prefer to have messy and salty hair then spend my time in front of the mirror. But since I dont have much to do now... I have all the time. Right? Hahaha
Currently I am exchanging e-mails with Mary Hagedorn, the coral expert that I met in Saba during Sea&Learn. She is giving me advice about all different things. I am already making plans for my Minor and my next internship, but where that is going to be, I will still keep it as a surprise.
In February I will have to go back to school. Then a year after that, I will be doing my minor. Time flies when you are having fun...!
But first, lets celebrate a beautiful year. With lots of new memories and friends!
Hello christmas and new year ('s eve).
Soon I will have a surprise for everyone who has been following me: a recap presentation of all my good times in The Caribbean! Hmm... Pictures never seen before..!
